Summer Increase for Purchasing and Output Indicators in China
The purchasing Manager or PMI of the manufacturing sector in China increased in three consecutive months over the summer, standing ay 54% in August, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing suggesting continued momentum in economic growth (a rating over 50% indicates expansion). Similar rises were also reported ion output, purchase price and new order indices. Over the same period GDP growth rose to 7.9%.
